After his Saturday afternoon experience getting his paw hurt with Dad's wheelchair Levi recovered very quickly. By night he was back to normal, not limping or showing any signs of pain so Mom didn't give him any of the pain pills the emergency animal hospital sent home with them. The veterinarian at the hospital said that sometimes when puppies have their first experience with getting hurt they can get really
distressed and overreact. That's what the little guy did. By the next day Mom could move the two toes in question around and it didn't bother him a bit. Thursday he'll get another new experience---a day trip to Lake Michigan to get sand in his newly washed fur. ©
P.S. Mom tried to get a close up of Levi's new face cut but he doesn't cooperate with the camera.

Hey Levi....nice ta meet ya...my Gram and Pap had a miniature schnauzer, Muffin, for 15 years before my doggie Pap, Alfie, arrived and stayed 13 years and 2 months...he went ta the rainbow bridge last December and we miss him. Alfie doesn't blog from the rainbow bridge like yer bro does....he sounds very interesting...we will have ta stop back again sometime...hope ya enjoy yer trip.

Levi, we are very glad you foot is okay! Big wheels can be very scary! Our mom says you look a whole lot like one of the puppies that her mini Schnauzer had. Daisy had 6 puppies and one of the six was black and silver. You do look a lot like him!

Lake Michigan!! Woohoo for you! Levi pal you are going to love it. I love going to any lake I can in Michigan (in case you don't know we have A LOT to romp in). Enjoy the sand and I bet it will make your little paw feel so much better. You are so brave Levi.
